Why can't I post to Facebook?

Typically this means that your Facebook authentication has expired.

Facebook recently created rules that require each person using a Facebook app on outside systems to re-authorize the use of that app every 90 days.

You can easily re-authorize the use of the Share.Habitat Facebook app by following these steps:

  • Log out of Share.Habitat
  • Click the "Sign In" button at the top of the page
  • Choose the "Log in with Facebook" option

Using this option will not change your normal Share.Habitat log in. It will simply re-authorize the use of the Share.Habitat Facebook app. After this re-authorization you can return to using your normal log in for Share.Habitat if you wish. Just remember that you will have to use the "Log in with Facebook" option every 90 days.
