How can I promote my fundraising campaign?

Once you build your page, you want to bring your network to your site and convert them to donors and supporters of your cause. 

Share.Habitat has two ways to promote your page. One is by sending out emails and the other one is by posting your campaign to one of our supported Social Media channels such as Facebook and Twitter (Google+ & LinkedIn supported soon)

To promote your Campaign by email:
  1. Log in to Share.Habitat.
  2. Click the "My Campaigns" tab, and select the appropriate campaign from the drop down menu (if managing multiple campaign pages).
  3. Click  the "Email" tab.
  4. Select the type of email you wish to send. (Get Donors, Get Supporters, Get Fundraisers, Send Thank You.)
  5. Email recipients may be manually entered, uploaded from Gmail or Yahoo!Mail, or loaded by clicking "Add From List". 
  6. By clicking the "Add From List" button, you can select from the list if you wish to send it specifically to your supporters, fundraisers or donors. After selecting the list or lists desired, click on "Use Lists" button.
  7. Edit the text of the email. We suggest inserting a hyperlink to your fundraising page.
  8. Click on the "Send Email" button to send your message.
To promote your campaign by Social Post:

  1. Log in to Share.Habitat.
  2. Click the "My Campaigns" tab, and select the appropriate campaign from the drop down menu (if managing multiple campaign pages).
  3. On the "Welcome" tab, mark the check box next to the appropriate Social Media Channel you want to post your campaign to. (You will be asked for permission and to log in to Facebook or Twitter account if you have not done so.)
  4. Enter a personalized message to share, or use the default text provided.
  5. Click on the "Post" button to post your campaign on the chosen Social Media channel.
